(Madison, IL) — An East St. Louis man will be spending decades behind bars after pleading guilty to murder. Deneshion Swope was sentenced yesterday to 40-years in prison. He was charged in the shooting death of Jarrett Mosby. The University of Missouri student was found dead in December 2013 in Madison, Illinois.
