(MT. VERNON, IL) — Around 5:30 Wednesday night, Mt. Vernon police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Heights Finance in the 2800 block of Broadway Street. Suspect vehicle was described as a gray Dodge Caravan, possibly occupied by two black males, one wearing a red sweatshirt and the other a blue sweatshirt. They were last seen driving east and then south from the business. No other information was available at press time.
