(Highland, IL) — A group of children are recovering after they were left unsupervised in a home that caught fire. Police say fire crews were called out yesterday to a house in the city of Highland. Seven kids were discovered standing outside when authorities arrived. Each one was taken to the hospital but none of their injuries are serious. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
