School Placed On Lockdown Following Home Invasion In Herrin

(Herrin, IL) — A home invasion is being blamed for why authorities placed a school on lockdown in Williamson County. Officials say three suspects forced their way into a home yesterday in the city of Herrin. The individuals assaulted the residents and made off with cash and other items. Herrin High School was placed on a brief lockdown as a precaution. No arrests have been made.
