(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council is set to meet this evening at 7 p.m. Among items on the agenda, the city manager will present for approval of the fiscal year 2014 – 2015 audit report and give an update on the capital projects report. The city attorney will give a first readings of an ordinance authorizing a tax levy, of an ordinance authorizing a loan with US Bank the amount of $608,000 for the new fire pumper truck, an inducement resolution with Borowiak’s IGA regarding property located within the Downtown TIF District, as well as with Weedy Acres LLC Regarding Property located within the IPCA Westside TIF District. There will also be a reading of a resolution approving design agreement with roundtable design for safe routes to school sidewalk project, a resolution approving an amendment to extend the contract with SSM Health, and a resolution approving an amendment to the tax increment redevelopment agreement with Menard, Inc. The meeting will be held at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
