(DIXON SPRINGS, IL) — Two offenders who escaped from the Dixon Springs Impact Incarceration Program are back in custody. Jerrette Reed and Kevin Rivera were apprehended without incident in a field about one mile west of the facility just before 9:00a.m. Monday morning. They will be escorted back to the facility, fed, and given a medical examination before being transferred to a maximum security prison. IDOC staff noticed Reed and Rivera missing at 5:50p.m. Sunday, December 6th. Reed is serving a three year sentence on meth related charges out of Randolph County. Rivera is serving a five year sentence for the manufacture and delivery of cocaine out of Cook County. The Illinois State Police, the U.S. Marshalls, and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the search. An investigation is underway.
