(SALEM, IL) — A 40-year-old Salem man was sentenced Thursday in Marion County Court to 4-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, after he was pleaded guilty to violating his probation from an earlier DUI conviction. Christopher Craig was originally sentenced to 3-years probation in 2013, but was re-sentenced earlier this year to an additional 2-years probation for violating terms of his probation. Craig pleaded guilty Thursday to a subsequent violation and was sentenced to 4-years in prison. A Class 1 felony charge of residential burglary in an unrelated case against Craig was dismissed.
