(Highland, IL) — Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a house fire in Highland, Illinois that killed an elderly couple. Police say crews were called out yesterday morning as flames engulfed the home of Jack and Shirley Cygan. Both were pronounced dead after their bodies were pulled out. Family members say they had celebrated their grandson’s wedding the day before their death.
