(WEST FRANKFORT, IL) — West Frankfort Police say the woman who crashed her vehicle into a downtown business early Saturday morning has been cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Fifty-two-year-old Carolyn Parkhill suffered minor injuries after crashing into Designer Consigner Boutique around 12:20 a.m. Parkhill refused an ambulance at the scene. According to a West Frankfort Police report, Parkhill was pulling out into the intersection, turning on Emma Street, when it appeared she overcorrected and drove into the store.
