(BENTON, IL) — A Coello man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he was found by Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies hiding out in an unoccupied home and drunk. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a call came in around 1:30 about 38-year-old William R. Zemla entering the home. He allegedly got inside by kicking down a door. Zemla was charged with unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to land and resisting arrest. It’s unknown at this time whether the home was unoccupied for the moment or all of the time.
