(Belleville, IL) — St. Clair County officials are adding 200 acres of free farmland to their bid to lure a federal spy agency to Illinois. That is on top of the original offer of 182 acres near Scott Air Force Base. The land has been set aside for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency site. The facility would employ about three-thousand people. A decision from Washington is expected as soon as March.
