(East St. Louis, IL) — Authorities in the Metro East are investigating the death of an infant. East St. Louis police say the three-month-old boy was found in a home last Thursday not breathing. He was then taken to Touchette Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The child was one of three children left in their father’s care while the mother was at work. Police say the infant rolled to the floor from a bed. No charges have been filed.
