Report: U Of I Has Paid Law Firms Over $1 Million

(Champaign, IL)  —  Months of turmoil inside the University of Illinois athletics department is costing the school a lot of money.  “The Champaign News Gazette” reports the university has spent over 1.3-million-dollars for two independent investigations conducted by Chicago law firms.  The probes were ordered following allegations of mistreatment of football and women’s basketball players at the school.
