(BENTON) — Benton Police could be the next police force to place “In God We Trust” decals on their squad cars.

The topic was discussed at Monday night’s Benton City Council Meeting after it was brought up by Public Health and Safety Commissioner David Moore.

After some discussion, the council felt more discussion was warranted and they would like to talk to residents about the decals before a possible decision at the next meeting later this month.
