(Belleville, IL) — A convicted sex offender wanted in Minnesota is back in custody after he was arrested in Illinois. Authorities say Rico Ronondo Rodriguez was captured yesterday in Belleville. An arrest warrant was issued after he escaped a Minneapolis halfway house last month. He was released from prison in August after serving time for sexually assaulting a girl and failing to register as a sex offender.
