Carmi, IL – Captain Kelly Hodge, District 19 Commander, announced the results of an Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) patrol which was conducted in Wayne County on Saturday, 10/31/2015. Authorities issued 7 total citations and 25 total written warnings including a suspended driver’s license citation, two speeding citations, and an outstanding warrant arrest. There were no DUI, drug or alcohol related arrests, or occupant restraint citations during this patrol. The Illinois State Police (ISP) reminds those who drink and drive that future patrols will be conducted. The ISP will continue to work to save lives by taking DUI offenders off the road, arresting them, and locking them up.
