(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council is due to meet this evening. Among items on the agenda, the Council will hear the City Manager present the Capital Projects report. There will also be a report from Jim Rippy from the Rend Lake Conservancy District and a request for permission to negotiate with the Rend Lake Conservancy District for the installation of a valve on a 12 inch main serving Continental Tire. The City Attorney will present a resolution approving an agreement to extend the electrical aggregation agreement with Constellation and a resolution approving an agreement with Brennan Klein Field Foundation to construct a concession stand at Lincoln Park. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
