(MT. VERNON, IL) — Jefferson County Board Chairman Robert White has informed both the Republican and Democrat Party Chairs of the resignation of Board Member John Keele due to his family moving out of the district. White indicated that he is looking forward to appointing a qualified replacement at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board on November 23rd. White went onto say that he “appreciated Keele’s service to the people of his district and to the people of Jefferson County.”
