(East St, Louis, IL) — The East St. Louis teacher’s strike is entering day 18. Some parents are getting impatient. The school district says 48 students from all grades have transferred to other school districts in the area. There was a protest rally yesterday outside school board headquarters. The union and school officials are scheduled to meet today for another round of negotiations.
