(Madison County, IL) — A Maryville man is behind bars on 200-thousand-dollars’ bond for a deadly DUI crash. Steven Willis is charged with aggravated driving under the influence causing death, and aggravated driving under the influence. Police say he was driving Thursday night on I-55 when he struck and killed Samantha Miller while she was standing near her stalled car. The victim’s three children were in the car when it was hit. The most seriously injured child was a three-year-old boy who suffered a skull fracture. All of the kids are expected to recover.
