(ANNA, IL) — IDOT says there will be some ramp closures on I-57 in Union County next week. Beginning Tuesday, the northbound off-ramp at the Illinois 146 interchange near Anna will be closed. Message boards will be in place directing you to use the Dongola interchange. A marked detour is currently in place for northbound traffic exiting at Dongola. Then on Wednesday, the northbound on-ramp at the Illinois 146 interchange near Anna will be closed. Message boards and a marked detour will be in place directing you to use Illinois 37. The Lick Creek interchange will remain open to all traffic. These closures are expected to last until Nov. 6 and are necessary to reconstruct concrete pavement along the ramps and on the adjacent section of interstate.
