(Caseyville, IL) — The Major Case Squad is working a homicide in St. Clair County. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene overnight in the 18-hundred block of Apache Street near Caseyville where they found the body of a gunshot victim. Police say Nicholas Hood was killed during a home invasion. No other details have been released and anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Case Squad.
