On Sunday, September 6, 2015 around 1p.m., the Mt. Vernon Police Department received a report of retail theft at Lucky’s Liquors, 1713 S. 10th in Mt. Vernon.
Upon investigation, a man was seen carrying an infant’s car seat with a blanket over the top of it. The man concealed liquor in the car seat and exited the store. He was seen arriving and leaving in a newer model gold Dodge Caravan with damage to the driver’s side front quarter panel.
The Jefferson County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help for identifying this individual. Attached are two photographs showing the man and vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Mt. Vernon Police at 242-0215, 242-2131 or the Jefferson County Crime Stoppers at 242-8477(TIPS).
Any information that leads to the arrest may make the caller eligible for a cash reward.
