(Edwardsville, IL) — Madison County State’s Attorney Tom Gibbons is encouraging people to bring their expired or unwanted medications to the county’s take-back-day later this month. The medications can be prescription or over-the-counter. The take-back program enables people to safely discard unused meds. Officials say the initiative addresses public safety and public health issues. Drugs will be collected at the County Administration Building in Edwardsville, September 26th.
