State Claims Contract Deals With Teamsters Groups

(Springfield, IL) — The Rauner administration says it’s reached tentative contract deals with five groups of Teamsters representing about 46-hundred state workers. The agreements reportedly call for a four-year wage freeze, a continuation of overtime after a 40-hour week and a reduction in pay for unused vacation days. The two smallest groups have ratified the deal, but the other three, representing more than four-thousand of these workers have yet to vote.
