The search is over for a 26-year-old New Baden man last seen Saturday night diving off a boat and into the Kaskaskia River. Authorities say the body of Joshua Toennies was found about a quarter-mile from where he was seen diving into the river near Illinois 160 in New Memphis. Witnesses report that Toennies allegedly dove from a pontoon boat into the river and never resurfaced. Officials say he was with a group of friends at the time. A number of different agencies were called in to help with the search. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is still investigation the incident.
