The Rend Lake Dam/Spillway Bridge will be closed to all traffic starting this Tuesday August 11th through August 14th at 4 p.m. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Rend Lake say this closure is necessary so routine maintenance can be done to the roadways, guardrails and the upstream face of the dam. Closure signs will be set up at the Sugar Creek parking lot and the west entrance to the dam.
