(Belleville, IL) — A Belleville man is dead after a rollover accident involving an industrial lawnmower. Duane Sudholt was working for an outdoor services company on Frank Scott Highway Wednesday morning when the lawnmower tipped over and burst into flames. The “St. Louis Post-Dispatch” says three airmen from Scott Air Force Base saw the fire and rushed to Sudholt’s aid. Sudholt was taken to Belleville Memorial and then transferred to the burn unit at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis where he died from his injuries.
