(LINCOLN, IL) — Hot weather will be hitting a huge portion of Illinois today. A heat advisory goes into effect this afternoon for the central and southeast part of the state. The National Weather Service says temps will reach the low 90’s. With the heat index, it could feel as hot as 110-degrees.
