State Cops Investigating Franklin County Inmate Death

(Franklin County, IL) — Illinois State Police are investigating the death of a Franklin County Jail inmate. Joseph Lukasik was pronounced dead at the Franklin County Hospital in Benton. An autopsy is set for today. The County Sheriff’s Department and coroner’s office are assisting in the investigation.
