Cameron Too Small For Tornado Aid

(Cameron, IL) — The tiny town of Cameron, Illinois will have to pay to clean-up after last week’s tornado all by itself. The town learned yesterday there will be no state or federal money. Congresswoman Cheri Bustos says FEMA aid is based on population, and small towns like Cameron often get left out. Cameron bore the brunt of an F-2 tornado last week, and is still cleaning up destroyed roofs and downed trees.
