Flooding In Iroquois County Causes Local Disaster Emergency

(Watseka, IL) — Crews are working around the clock in Iroquois County after severe flooding caused a local disaster emergency to be issued in the City of Watseka. Officials say over 130-people have been evacuated and a curfew remains in effect. The Red Cross shelter at Trinity Church continues to assist flood victims and has housed more than 65-people.
