(Williamson County, IL) — The Marion City Council has approved the appointment of two new sergeants to replace two others that left the police force. One position involves a replacement for Councilman Angelo Hightower. He recently discovered that he couldn’t serve in the police department and the City Council. The names of the replacements will be presented at the next council meeting.
