(Franklin County, IL) — A southern Illinois man has been sentenced to prison on meth charges. Caleb Grant was handed a 42 month prison term on Wednesday after pleading guilty last month. The West Frankfort man was pulled over by Murphysboro Police in April. During the stop, officers found material used to make meth in the vehicle, including lithium batteries and Coleman fuel. Grant later confessed that the items were his and he intended to use them to create meth.
