Rauner: I’ll Vote For A Tax Hike…

(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he would vote for a tax increase, but only if Democratic lawmakers vote for his agenda first. The governor told reporters in Springfield if he gets support on pension reform, term limits, workers compensation reform, and some other issues then he’d be willing to talk about a tax increase. Lawmakers and the governor at trying to come to terms on a state budget that was supposed to be signed last week.
