(WEST FRANKFORT, IL) — Morthland College has added another building to its growing campus in West Frankfort. The nine members of the West Frankfort First United Methodist Church recently voted unanimously to donate their building to the college. College officials say they will lease the church for 20 years at a cost of $1 and will allow the church to continue meeting there and hold special programs. The church will be home to the college’s Biblical Studies Department. It will also be used for convocation and graduation along with chapel services. The college already owns another former church – Washington Hall – and Coleman Rhoads Hall.
