Gertrude A. O’Connell, 85, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 7:30 A.M., Saturday, March 14, at her home in Mount Vernon. Celebration of Life Memoral Mass will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2, at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, with The Very Reverend Father John Iffert officiating. Interment of Ashes will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Saint Louis, Missouri at 9:00 A.M. Friday, July 3.
