(Undated) — Copious amounts of rain from Tropical Depression Bill caused major headaches for dozens of downstate Illinois communities over the weekend. Multiple Metro-East communities were flooded Friday afternoon, resulting in evacuations in Centreville. The National Weather Service says five tornadoes touched down in Southern Illinois Friday night. Road closures were also reported in eastern Illinois, including the heavily-traveled U.S. 45 in Coles County, due to flooded-out sections.
