(MCLEANSBORO, IL) — A Mt. Vernon man is set to appear in Hamilton County Court today after being charged in connection to an alleged sexual abuse case in Hamilton County. Thirty-six-year-old Neal Colclasure was served with a Hamilton County warrant Monday charging him with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual assault, and aggravated domestic battery. This was done while he was in custody at the Jefferson County Justice Center on a separate domestic battery case from Jefferson County. His bond is set at $75,000. According to the McLeansboro Times-Leader website, Colclasure allegedly committed sexual acts with a family member who was under the age of 18 between January 1st and Oct. 8th 2013. Colclasure also allegedly choked the family member in question on Oct. 7 of 2013.
