(Bloomington, IL) — Another county is asking former congressman Aaron Schock to pick up the tab for the special elections to choose his replacement. The McLean County board has voted to send Schock a bill for two-hundred-thousand-dollars for the July 7 primaries and September 10 general election. Tazewell County has already sent Schock a bill for 76-thousand-dollars. Schock resigned in March as a federal investigation into his use of taxpayer and campaign funds was gathering steam. He reportedly left office with more than three-million-dollars in his campaign fund.
