(East St. Louis, IL) — Juveniles in East St. Louis can’t be on the streets after 10 p.m. under a curfew established in response to the shootings of two teens in the past week. One boy, 15-year-old Anton McDaniels, died Sunday after being shot Thursday night along with another boy who remains hospitalized. Police imposed the curfew indefinitely, meaning those under 17 can’t be out after 10 on weeknights and midnight on weekends unless they’re accompanied by a parent. Police say they have two persons of interest in the shooting.
