(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council is set to meet this evening at 7 p.m. Among items on the agenda, the Council will request permission to seek bids for demolition of 13 properties in Mt. Vernon as well as hear bid results for street maintenance materials, utilizing MFT funds. The City Manager will present the capital projects reports and present on the reallocation of funds for the 2014-2015 budget. The City Attorney will give first readings on ordinances regarding prevailing wage rates and the sale authorization of municipal real estate property, a property rezoning ordinance, and two resolutions approving local agency agreements for jurisdictional transfer of parts of Wells Bypass Route. The meeting will be at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
