(Benton, IL) — Benton School District 47 has received a gift of 100 thousand dollars from an individual who wants to remain anonymous. District Superintendent Doctor Jay Goble says the money will save several jobs. He says he met with the donor and the only stipulation was to bring back as many people as possible. Goble added that four teacher aides will keep their jobs next semester.
