(Fairview Heights, IL) — Copper thieves who struck a Fairview Heights shopping plaza recently made off with what police say was recyclable metal plus damage that add up to one-hundred-40-thousand dollars. The vandals hit rooftop air conditioning units at six different stores in the plaza on I-64 in Fairview Heights.
