Neva Sue Carter, 74, of Mt. Vernon, went home to be with her Lord at 1:28 a.m. on May 22, 2015, at her daughter’s home in Mt. Vernon. As per Mrs. Carter’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Osborn Funeral Home, with Jonathan Schnautz officiating. Burial will follow at Boyd cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
