(Williamson Co., IL) — A Herrin man is going to prison for selling drugs near a couple of area churches. A judge handed Lavell Porter a 16-year prison term yesterday. A jury found him guilty of dealing crack cocaine in March. Police say an informant helped to capture the notorious drug dealer last July.
