Jackie Len Johnson, 66, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 2:51 A.M., Tuesday, May 19, at his home in Mount Vernon. Mr. Johnson will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 23, at Renewed Hope in Christ Church in Mount Vernon, with Reverend Bob Eblin & Reverend Dan Harriman officiating. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from Noon until Service Time 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 23, at Renewed Hope in Christ Church in Mount Vernon. Burial of ashes with be held at Smith-Veterans Cemetery in Jefferson County, at a later date. Members of Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will conduct Full Military Honors at the cemetery.
