Jonah Bracken, Jr., 71, of Dix, passed away at 8:21 A.M., Wednesday, April 22 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mount Vernon. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 2 at West Side Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, with Reverend David Schlag officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, Oklahoma at a later date. In honor of Mr. Bracken’s wishes he was cremated and no visitation will be held.
