GRANITE CITY, Ill. (AP) — A man accused of killing a Granite City teenager in a hit-and-run traffic collision has pleaded guilty in the case. The Belleville News Democrat reports 26-year-old Son Thanh Nguyen of Madison pleaded guilty in Madison County Court on Monday to a felony charge of failing to report an accident involving injury or death. Authorities say 16-year-old Daniel Embrey and two friends were walking along a road on the evening of last Oct. 6 when a car struck the trio and kept going without stopping. Embrey later died at a hospital. One of his companions also was injured. Nguyen faces a sentence ranging from probation to 15 years in prison.
