(ODIN, IL) — In the latest of a string of meth-related arrests, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies have taken into custody a 48-year-old Odin man on multiple charges. Timothy Lusch was formally charged Monday in Marion County Court with felony tampering with anhydrous ammonia, and misdemeanor battery, as well as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bail has been set at $10,000. Deputies arrested Lusch after receiving a report of a man with two knives who had threatened another man. He was found walking near Bethel and Norton Roads in rural Odin Sunday. Lusch reportedly gave the knives to deputies when requested, and reportedly admitted to them that he had taken anhydrous ammonia and had been making meth.
